Prestressed lintels
Pre-stressed brick lintels are manufactured in several dimensions, allowing an optimal combination of bridging window and door openings of different wall thicknesses. They are produced in lengths of 1 to 4 metres in increments of 20 and 25 cm. When purchasing the length of the brick pre-stressed lintel, the clear opening dimension and the minimum overlap of 12 cm on each side must be taken into account.
Up to a span of 2 m is supported once, longer spans need to be supported twice. The screed reaches its load-bearing capacity when the mortar has reached the specified strength after about 4 weeks. By using pre-stressed brick lintels, the investor saves time and money.
We offer prestressed brick lintels in ten different widths:
- Lintels 9 cm; 12 cm; 12 cm x 12 cm in 14 cm of 25cm-steps.
- Lintels 7,5 cm; 10 cm; 12,5 cm; 15 cm; 17,5 cm of 20cm-steps.
These options offer optimal flexibility to a variety of window and door openings in a variety of wall thicknesses.
